Collaborative Filmaking

This workshop was aimed to teach us how to edit video clips and collaborate and remix a range of videos and effects to create a new video.

We went around inside and outside of the University campus and recorded a range of short video clips of the structure and architecture of the building. Going back to the studio we uploaded these videos and gathered into small groups. In Final Cut Pro we imported our movies, we began to add effects and played around with the sizing of the video. As it was all pretty new to us we used the first part of the session purely adding effects cutting small parts out and recreated a different style with the same video, we also remixed a few different video clips on to one.

During the second part of the session we moved around in groups and looked at other groups work they had created. We then began to collaborate our ideas and reform their video.

We all collaborated media and ideas and created a collaborated movie sharing authorship over the final product.
